wondering if anyone knows when the circuit assembly is scheduled for in the duluth, minnesota area.
also, does anyone know the location (i'm sure it's some high school)?.
Okay, well I'll just give you a report after I return then.
i kept getting emails from a jw from somewhere, don't even know who she is.
last night i finally emailed this person asking them to stop emailing me because i am not a jw and have no interest in the emails she sends.
she practically sends 2-3 "spriritual" emails a day.
You didn't have to say it was written by a JW - judging fro the grammar, punctuation, and disrespect for sentence structure, we could have figured it out.
PM the woman's email address. I'd like to get on her mailing list.

Hey, thanks for the info - and so fast!
Maybe I'll see you there.

i have long thought of doing this, but could never see any good it would do except make me feel good for a few seconds.
i also feel that when you do this you let them win.
they always say that we told you so, or now he is gone and our congregation is clean bla bla bla.
Or you can do this, so that they don't get the satisfaction of pigeon-holing you into a DF or DA category: http://xjwnet.ning.com/forum/topics/the-letter-your-experiences
I have. Here are my letters: http://www.watchtowerletters.com/
back in the day i'm pretty sure i was told that the jw's believe that the world was surrounded by a water barrier before the flood which caused the earth's climate to be 'greenhouse like'.
i was lead to believe that there were no polar ice caps before the flood.
is there anything in the jw literature archive which alludes to this theory or was i just told something not supported by the society?
The newest reference to it that I'm aware of is the book "From Paradise Lost to Paradise Regained". Page 43 says there was a water canopy prior to the flood. If the Society still holds to this teaching, they haven't explicity said so in many years. Also, such a teaching would contradict statements they make in "Life- How Did it Get Here? By Evolution or by Creation?"
i listen to podcasts several times a week.
while surfing itunes and downloading programs, i see a lot of ex-mormons podcasts, which i usually put in my ipod, but practically none from jw.
shouldn't we take advantage of this?
These podcasts are largely on the subject of leaving the JWs:
